Watch Carole Lombard and George Raft steam-up the screen in this little number from Bolero.

One word: PRE-CODE!

The film offered Raft the rare chance to depart from his gangster type-cast and play something a little closer to home: a dancer, which had been his profession in New York City. As for Lombard, rumour has it that a double was used for her in many of the shots in the dance scenes. However Mitchell Leisen, who actually directed one of the dance numbers, said on several occasions that she was a terrific dancer.

Either way she, Raft, and the dancing are simply divine!
