Carole Lombard Get’s A Caricature

Ah! That’s what I shouted in my head upon first seeing this image of Our Lady of Lunacy:
Carole Lombard Caricature by Pierre Montiel

Reminds me a tad of Cruella de Vil Gone Platinum!

If any of you out there fancy these sorts of things the magazine from which the photo came from is currently up for auction on Ebay until May 21st. CLICK HERE to bid now >>

  1. I’m going to pass on this one. No offense to the artist or anything but caricatures have never been my thing.

  2. I sense the creator of this was a bit inspired by the Lombard caricature used in the opening credits of “Nothing Sacred,” because there’s a genuine resemblance.

  3. True that! It does resemble the Lombard bobble head from Nothing Sacred.
