Tally’s Lombard Treasures: Carole Lombard’s Jewels
Good morning everyone! Looks like another beautiful entry today with the fabulous Miss-y Tally showing us some of Carole Lombard’s jewelry. Let’s begin!
For this entry, we have 4 pr of Carole’s earrings:
1) a pair of silver and light blue stone beaded earrings. (scanned bw, but the stones ARE a light blue. Would look stunning with her blonde tresses!)

2) Next, emerald, diamond and gold drop earrings.Perfect shape and likely beautiful in the evening.

3) blue stone amidst diamonds earrings. (These are the ones I wore them to the Drs after the first cancer operation for GOOD LUCK, and had a feeling maybe she MIGHT have been “cruising in the vicinity”, cause it was good news for a year..These are from Carole’s hairdresser at Paramount)

4) White stone in gold clips earrings. No missing stones either and in beautifulcondition.(Given by Carole to Ben Nye and letter from him is included with COA).

A “Lady of Exquisite Taste” absolutely! (MORE To COME…)
I really don’t know how to express my gratitude Tally except to tell you that you rock and thank you thank you so much! besos!

Magnificent (like Carole and Tally!). Thanks for sharing these with us.
So lovely! Are the stones in the last pair opals? Thanks so very much for sharing, Tally. You are a doll!
White opals, on 14K gold.
Too bad none of the ruby pieces survived. I especially loved the ring! Carole was very generous to give so many of her things away. I wonder if her cook (Jessie?) and maid (Juanita?)received things of hers. Imagine the gifts she must have given them for birthdays, holidays, etc. She was very generous with Jean Garceau.
